Macson is committed to helping others, supporting our community, and protecting the environment. We demonstrate this commitment by charitable giving to good causes. Currently, we help to fund Bury Boccia, a disability sports group in Bury, Lancashire. Bury Boccia offers opportunities for those with disabilities to engage in sports. We also contribute to environmental efforts through One Tree Planted, supporting tree planting initiatives worldwide to combat deforestation and promote biodiversity.
In addition, in our local community, we actively support the local food bank, helping provide essential resources to those in need. Globally, we support WaterAid in their mission to bring clean and safe water to communities without reliable water access. Additionally, we’ve contributed to constructing a well in Sri Lanka, helping to improve water access in underserved areas. Through these actions, we strive to make a positive impact locally and globally, staying true to our values of community support, environmental care, and humanitarian aid.
Bury Boccia
Boccia is a sport played by disabled people right up to Paralympic level. We helped Bury Boccia buy new equipment to set up their boccia club. For more information on Bury Boccia please have a look at their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/buryboccia
They are currently looking for volunteers to help out at their sessions (in Radcliffe on Sundays) and are always open to funding to run their sessions, renew equipment etc. Paul is involved with the running of the club and also coaches on Sundays.
Tree Planting
We believe passionately in looking after the environment and are aware that our business leaves a carbon footprint, so to help offset that we partner up with a charity called One Tree Planted to help plant more trees. In 2022 we have funded the planting of 1000 trees (certificate here) in the UK via One Tree Planted.

Trinity Foodbank, Radcliffe
With the economic difficulties people face we recognise the massive contribution that local foodbanks make to the lives of people who are struggling to make ends meet. We donate to our local foodbank https://trinityfoodbank.co.uk/
They are always looking for volunteers and donations, as are all foodbanks.
